Oh, sometimes this can be difficult, can't it? When the selfishness rears its head, I simply act wrong and unloving. How I want to be more like Him! Love the Gospel of John – thank you for sharing this critical reminder!
Always good to see you, to know you and your special way of sharing. Loved this. And that Word is among the really good ones… we sang that song so long ago, and many don't pay attention to that as often, the young 'uns, but I was in my 20s and early 30s when we sang it at church. Now I'm pushing 70…just hit 68… and much has changed. But you most certainly made me grin. The photo is great, as well as the Word. Bless you.
Dear MartyLove for one another was the one thing that amazed the world after Pentecost. Without the Holy Spirit filling our hearts with Himself, it is impossible to love the way our Pappa loves for love comes from God.Blessings XXMia
Oh how I need Him to help me to love others. First, I must learn to love and accept myself, so that I can truly give it away. Thanks for linking up with The Weekend Brew!
This makes me think of the verse, \”We love because He first loved us.\” I pray He helps me to love others…to love everyone. Thank you for this beautiful reminder today. Blessings.Beth
Actually Barbie I think the more we focus on loving others the less we have to be concerned with loving ourselves…we find life when we die and it is in loving others that we live out the truth that He has already loved and accepted us. As always, thank you for for hosting the WB; it's one of my favorite places!
Such a beautiful capture, Marty! I'm humming an old acapella song 'Love one another, for love comes from God…' When He is the source of love, love knows no end at all – and God will give freely to this'd who ask … Which gives us hope!
You're so interesting! I don't suppose I have read through a single thing like that before. I love this photo so much. I suck at Scrabble, but I enjoy how you used that image to drive home the scripture verse. Have a great week, Marty!

Thanks, Alison. I'm not real good with Scrabble either unless I'm using the tiles as photo props 🙂
