A good photograph can be found anywhere. And anything makes a worthy subject. When we take the time to look for light and angles, when we play with composition and framing, even the most boring and plain objects reveal beauty and inspire thankfulness. We just have to train our eye to see it. So wherever you are in your photography journey…keep taking pictures. You may feel ridiculous at first but it’ll be worth it.
Well, I think it turned out great…and I love the processing!

Thank you kindly, Dina! In my head it is a much softer color shot…out of the ones I took there were a few that I liked and this was one of them π

Thanks, Stephanie! I think the old lace doily helped give it that nostalgic look.

Beautiful image! And I often have the same issue where I can't quite get the look I'm envisioning. Leaving it and coming back later does help sometimes π

The black and white with the lighting gives it a mysterious air. It looks like a book cover shot for a murder mystery. Good job!

Thanks, Suzanne! I Find that I often create things in my head that simply do not exist…fabric, stores, etc. My imagination seems to be a wee bit vivid I guess π

I like the black and white of this image but I totally understand when you have something in your head and the frustration of not getting it to come out in your images. Keep shooting you will get it.
